Committed to Fully inclusive bowling. 

The committee and members of our BTBC welcome everyone to take part in the very skilled and fun sport of green bowls. The club constitution shows the commitment of the club to encourage inclusive membership. SECTION 2 – MEMBERSHIP. (Section 2 from the current club constitution).

2.1 Membership of the Club shall be open to anyone interested in the sport of outdoor flat green bowls on application regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, or other beliefs. Membership may however be limited according to available facilities on a non-discriminatory basis. 

Bourne Town Bowls club actively encourages everyone to try out and play green bowls regardless of their abilities. We offer 3 free taster sessions before joining the club to make sure that this sport is right for you. All equipment is supplied. For people with a mobility issue, we offer the following equipment to use:    

  • A “BowlRoyce” green friendly wheelchair.      
  • A sturdy walker for use by anyone with mobility issues.      
  • Various training aids.

The club is also wheelchair friendly with ramps into and out of the club and green, a roomy toilet suitable for wheelchair users. Disabled Parking at the main gate is available.
